Summer vacation is the feeling of freedom: waking up (or staying up) late to the drone of a cool air conditioner, endless iced coffees to beat the heat, and long nights where the clouds change from white, to yellow, to pink, an almost a tropical oasis.
That is, of course, if you have time off in the summer.
Even with work, there is something about time in the summer that feels limitless. The hours are filled with levity. The minutes feel long and capacious. When the sun goes down, and the mosquitos come out, these hours feel best used catching up on Netflix.
And catch up, I have, relative to the incomprehensible amount of streaming content available. One of the best things I’ve watched, a thing that I cannot stop recommending, is the CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
